First Storm (for BAL-WAS metro area

today an alberta clipper has and still is at this time bringing snow throughout the mid atlantic with some areas getting 3+ inches including areas in frederick county with frederick receiving 4.2 inches so far. Here in Montgomery County totals have been germantown 4.0+ inches rockville(my backyard) 3.5+inches , gathersburg 2+ inches. Also over by the mtns Hancock received 4 and a half inches. areas in VA have received anywhere from nothing, trace to 3 inches plus. In WV expect more snow especially in the mtns in the mtns expect 6-10 inches and just east expect 3-6 also the cutoff for 3-6 inches in MD is currently just about the NW corner of MOntgomery county and SE of frederick.

What to expect tomorrows commute:
icy roads and some slush
tips:
drive slow take no risk use chains in the mtns drive with 4WD or AWD AWD for ice preferably
make sure to check ur countys schools delays and closings to plan your day
