Orioles

I disagree with what the earlier post said(this i run by 2 dff peeps)
i dont thiink that the os should trade so many people but they should still trade tejad a and payton because they need more young talent but still keep theri team intact

What I think the Orioles should do....

The Orioles should...

  • trade Erik Bedard to Dogders for Jonathan Broxton, Matt Kemp, and Clayton Kershaw
  • trade Miguel Tejada and Jay Payton to Angels for Howie Kendrick and Brandon Wood
  • trade Melvin Mora to Philadephia for Shane Victorino
  • trade Shane Victorino to Yankees for Ian Kennedy
  • trade Brain Roberts to mets for Fernando Martinez

Brett Favre. Is his streak in danger?

So far according to the Green Bay Packers organazation Brett Favre's streak of starting consecutive games should be in no danger. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said "He"ll be OK."
Although, Favre appears to have re-injured his left shoulder that was hurt 15 years ago in 1992; Nate Jones was the guy who put the hit on him. Also, Favre suffered an elbow bruise from the initial contact. All in all Favre should be able to play next week against Oakland and make an impact; watch for him to throw to greg jennings as his deep threat, but don't forget about Donald Driver, James Jones and Donald Lee. Also, look for Ryan Grant to get a heavy workload because the Oakland Raiders have a terrible rushing defense, espescially if Favre is sore.

Nationals Trade!!

The Washington Nationals have just completed a trade with the New York Mets. The Nats sent Ryan Church and Brian Schneider to the Mets for Lastings Milledge (once a top prospect in the Mets farm system). What does this mean for the catching situations on both teams? On the Mets Schneider will likely take over the top spot and Johnny Estrada will most likely me released. In Washington, Jesus Flores will take over the top catching spot. Milledge has gotton a bad rap by rapping (literally). Will this trade benefit the Nats or the Mets? What do all you readers think? say yes or no below in the comment space. we will count them each day and tally the votes.

Orioles Erik Bedard Update

So far it looks like the Orioles won't be able to resign Bedard anytime soon. Look for them to trade him to the Dodgers (for Matt Kemp, Jonathan Broxton, and Clayton Kershaw) or to the Angels (for a combination of Brandon Wood, Joe Saunders, Reggie Willis, and Ervin Santana).
